As the name sugggests, Bad Schörgau has enjoyed a long tradition as a rural spa resort. Spa activity ceased in the 50s, to be re-assumed by us in 2003 – a comfortable bathing house with its own iron, sulphur and mineral-rich water source. The high quality bathing additions come from local farmers: the fragrant mountain hay, honey and fresh milk. Taking a special place in our spa is the Sarner dwarf pine – pinus sarentensis – a forgotten, age-old and natural ‚farmers’ medicine’, whose beneficial effects were well-known to our ancestors.
