As the name already tells („Bad“ means bath in German) the Bad Schörgau has got a long lasting tradition as a farmer’s bath.
The own source, which has already been mentioned as a spa in 1624 for the first time, derives its name. The water contains ferric sulphate, sulphur and many other minerals.
Terminated in the 1950s the rural bathing tradition was reactivated in 2003 and enlarged in 2012 and 2017. Today the farmer's bath comprises besides the Silhouette-Gourmet SPA where the treatments take place, a relaxing zone, an outdoor swimming-pool, an outdoor sauna and many more.
