Philosophy
A long tradition
It's already in the name: Bad means 'bath' in German. Bad Schörgau has a long lasting tradition as a 'farmer’s bath'. The hotel's very own fresh water spring has already been mentioned as a medicinal spring in 1624. The water is very soothing due to its high iron and sulphur content.
We are committed to this long history and also to the farmer’s bath traditions. This is why we wanted to combine the traditional methods with modern elements. The base is always formed by our very own spring water and other high quality natural ingredients.
What does Silhouette-Gourmet mean? It's a unique combination of spa treatments, combined with an adapted cuisine and the best sleep quality. Everything is perfectly balanced. That is how we can offer the most effective wellness experience.
It all revolves around a body purification process that is made with the most top-of-the-notch treatments and products in our new spa. Underwater massages of the very special kind with the tub of Unbescheiden:

The farmer's bath
In building the farmer’s bath we paid special attention to all elements making sense. They should not only be valuable in an architectural way but also contribute significantly to the regeneration of body and mind. And, of course, tradition and zeitgeist are linked closely, too.
The numerous source water stations with apple vinegar invite to cleanse your body from the inside. The Kneipp water-treading basin with a view to the weather cross is meant to bundle energies. The ripple of the water stimulates the hearing sense. The Sarentino porphyry stone in the outdoor sauna comes from our source origin and narrates the water's tale. The oxidized quartzite of the swimming-pool emphasises its smoothness.
